The Melling Valve Spring Shims come in a 16-pack, with a 1.246 inch outer diameter, 0.518 inch inner diameter, and a fine 0.003 inch thickness. These thin shims allow for very precise adjustments to valve spring installed height, which is critical for optimizing valvetrain geometry and spring pressure for specific camshafts. We ship directly to your door or to your preferred local tire shop for installation. Most local tire shops offer mounting and balancing for $15-$25 per tire. Just provide your installer's address at checkout and we'll ship right to them.
